Where will the Pyramid be Built?

Location is important but how that location is chosen is far more valuable.

We’re asking governments around the world to join our Earth Pyramid project and to show their
support for a sustainable future on a peaceful planet.

There’s only one catch though: we can’t tell them where the Earth Pyramid will be built.
Because no one knows yet.

That means a government’s decision to join isn’t influenced by prejudice, hostility or favouritism towards other countries. They make an impartial decision to join the Earth Pyramid project
because they believe in our mission. And put aside their differences with other countries to unite
behind a good cause.

It’s a bit like how the location itself is chosen...

Connected GlobeThe global vote
We’re inviting children from one school in every country on earth to represent their nation in an exciting global vote experiment. Children across the world will decide which country they think will benefit most from the gift of the Earth Pyramid.

It’s a special opportunity for children to:

We’ve created a rare chance for children of the world to talk openly together, free from the influence of politics, conflict and prejudice. So every child in each school feels involved in an informed vote.

A vote that’s equal in value to those cast by children in other schools around the world.

How Earth Pyramid raises awareness
Imagine it’s a few years from now. European school children get ready to cast their global vote
by watching Moji Riba’s films. His videos capture the heritage of ancient tribal communities
in the Himalayan foothills through their rituals and folklore. Before they’re consumed by everexpanding
development.

Learning brings the consequences of economic growth to life for those children. They feel sad that traditional ways of life might be lost but happy to celebrate them. And inspired to preserve those valuable cultures.

This positive experience helps children to understand how their choices affect the future. And
how they can change it for the better.

Like the boy who one day will tell his oil company not to drill in a delicate rainforest. Or the girl
who grows up to become president and decides not to take her country into war.

A gift to those who deserve it most
With school children casting their global vote, Earth Pyramid outshines any local construction
project. Their compassion is the only factor that decides where the gift of the Earth Pyramid
might:

The Earth Pyramid is a journey. Not a destination
It’s a journey that connects every nation on earth through its children. And gives them a chance
to learn about the serious issues that face other children around the world.

It’s a journey that celebrates what children believe in and want to protect. Free from the
influence of politics, prejudice and commercial gain.

But above all else it’s a journey of awareness for future generations.

Remember. Wherever the Earth Pyramid is built, how it got there is more important.
