Digital Preservation Chamber

With modern computers / technology the world has never been more connected, so this generation has a great opportunity to collaborate and share what is important to them.
The digital preservation chamber will give everyone with access to a computer the chance to take part in the project by way of a “virtual Pyramid”. This online facility will capture video and written messages that will then be put onto a format that will last for 1,000 years. These will be placed inside the designated chamber within the pyramid.
Digital preservation of the world’s information is a subject that has global interest and there are many organisations around the world working to solve the problem. We are currently in contact with KEEP, POCOS and the Open Planets Foundation who are at the leading edge of research in this area. With their support we will be developing this side of the project and when ready it will give the world a chance to participate in this global event.
